I gathered my thoughts to write this review and share my impressions about our private tour to Socotra, which was wonderfully organized by the Itinero team! I want to note, that this is not our first and hopefully not the last trip with this team). Everything is always clear and punctual, and new offers for every taste and budget.

A little bit about Socotra! And now, finally, after the anxiety and excitement associated with the complicated political situation in Yemen, the dream has come true. This unusual wild island is for experienced adventurers and for those who have tired of the standard programs and not for gentle tourists, as you will have to live in tents all week to lead a nomadic way. The island is worth visiting before it loses its unique look.

We were lucky enough to see Socotra during the flowering of the bottle tree, which added even more visual color. It is an island of contrasts. Beautiful nature and ocean, flowering trees, Ramadan, and mud. There are goats eating polyethylene and vultures and many, many cute crabs. Ah, yes, and the dunes, beautiful dunes that I have never seen anywhere else! I recommend it, thank you.

I made 2 adventures with Itinero - to Peru in June 2022 and to the USA in September of the same year. Excellent company - everything is well organized, soulful tour leaders, comfortable transport, exclusive itinerary, and wonderful secret places, the density of events is suitable, in general, I am in total delight and plan to be in new amazing trips with this company.

Yesterday night another operator decided to cancel my hotel reservation in South Africa unilaterally (I will not go into details) and to fly in three days. This year, the local fellow who was supposed to take me on an expedition started fooling around and jacking up the prices a couple of weeks before arrival.
I would be okay with overpaying, but I wasn't mentally ready to take a cheap tour (where they stuff you in a jeep and leave you to sleep in icy hostels with six people in a room and a toilet outside).
I was freaking out and was ready to postpone the trip again.

Actually, in the Andes, they don't wear sombreros - I lied a bit to make it rhyme - but chuyos and ponchos. And they eat chuño. And they play the charango. But I won't tell you what it is, let Anna show you the place. Anyway, no one can do it better than her: Anna is an expedition guide, researcher, photographer, and, finally, a beautiful woman.

It was the best trip of the past year. Just recently, we celebrated life in this beautiful corner of our planet. Thank you, @itinerotravel, for the excellent arrangement of the tour and a lot of positive emotions. I want to believe that when all the current craziness is over, we'll be able to admire our beautiful world again.

Choosing this tour was one of the best decisions of this year! The mountains are simply cosmic, and I could not imagine that there is so much incredible beauty in 2 hours away by plane. Our guide did everything possible to reveal the potential of this republic in our eyes. And he kept an eye on us, reminded us to use sunscreen, and brewed coffee at the most extraordinary locations, and with local cheese on the side, it was purely divine.
Within our group, so many wonderful acquaintances were made I didn't want to part after 5 days. I hope to meet up with the group again on another trip.

A year ago, I started my epic journey to South America - 38 hours on the road, four flights (each connection had a time difference with the city of departure, pushing the total jet lag up to seven hours), and finally, I arrived. The trip was Mega Cool! If you want to find yourself in unearthly landscapes, experience high altitude (3800-4900 meters for almost two weeks), enjoy digital detox (we had a wonky WiFi connection once every few days and cell phone service only at the beginning and at the end of the expedition), get a new perspective on your life, have an unforgettable vacation, and get great photos (due to the accompanying team of professional photographers) – jump into a tour in the highlands of Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

And after that, you can leap to the tropics in Iguassu to entirely blow your mind away.

I had never been before on such jeep tour-like adventures, I had doubts that a group of people could make me tired, but it turned out that there was no time to get tired. Something was going on all the time! As promised, the 4WD jeeps are excellent and comfortable with air conditioning and seat belts. The hotels are good, and even the guest house in the remote village was great. Thank you to our fantastic adventure guide and his team of drivers for showing us remote Dagestan. This region turned out to be so different, so beautiful, friendly, and delicious cuisine. My husband and I were delighted!

Very cool adventure. We have been to many places with my wife, but such a simple Dagestan, with kind and hospitable people, leaves the best impression! Unless we go to Mexico, we will return in the fall for new trips with you guys.

I'm enjoying my morning coffee, and Facebook reminds me of what happened exactly on this day two years ago: I'm drinking coca tea leaves on the other side of the planet, in another world, in another state. In a place, I had never even realized existed before. Traveling is the most potent cure of all. And in the current situation, when we are all trapped by the pandemic, I am once again convinced how good it is that all this was in our lives when we made up our minds, spared no expense, and made an effort on this trip of a lifetime... Here are a few words about our trip to South Africa for New Year's Eve 2020. But can we express the storm of our emotions and feelings through words? Stunning nature, mild climate, magnificent wine, and great company - that's how it was. Thanks to the organizers for the excellent program and especially to Konstantin Chuvashev for creating a constant festive and joyful atmosphere!

I am from Siberia, from Baikal😊. Two weeks ago I returned from Peru! It was happiness, joy - a journey through this mysterious country. The country was such a discovery for me that I'd never experienced before. We probably weren't well prepared. Seeing the country brought an aesthetic pleasure, though.
I would recommend avoiding flying through Kathmandu: the feelings were too mixed, despite a charming guide. And I would not recommend Le Meridian Hotel in Thimphu.
All the rest was very impressive.

That beautiful Colombia! It is unfair to say that it is just a country of drug trafficking. This country is getting its life together and welcomes tourists nowadays. I can't recall where else I was treated with such care! It was delicious, beautiful and fun! That was a La Macarena place where people didn't know what hot water was for. And everyone was so happy to share their love and hospitality.

Of course, we're all awesome travelers, smart and savvy. But we could NEVER have made such a voyage to South America without Anna Gibiskys.

This delicate blonde is just unbelievably cool! She knows everything about both Americas! She filled our trip with so much meaning and content, taking us off the beaten tourist trails and into the real country's life that we still feel a kind of magical hypnosis. She would check in us at a hotel and disappear into the night to tie up the invisible strings for our next day. She argued with some sly locals in Spanish and guided us through discrete alleys to the best local restaurants and incredible viewpoints.

At the right moment, the right people, who were Anna's friends, showed up from nowhere to help us in Peru: a mountain guide Urbano, a superb driver Julian or a Russian-speaking tour guide – a Peruvian girl who studied in Moscow State University. We knocked on some doors and joined a backpacker party. We came to Martina in the Quechuan village and were welcomed as family members.

On top of it, Anya carried tons of professional photo equipment, took pictures, launched drones, drank pisco with us and treated us to coca candy! :-) She writes articles for National Geographic and her page features awesome photos!

I met the most fantastic team leads with whom it was awesome to travel. The true friends and, simultaneously, the experts you can trust with your vacation! And the vacation days are always so short!

I loved everything and wanted to go to Hawaii or the USA.

I want to reply to everyone who asked me how I got on such an unconventional trip through South America. It's a thank-you post to @itinerotravel and the world's best @annagibiskys. It's a balanced and thought-through reply. I've been following the company for a long time and decided to go in one morning. Why? Because they're cool. Professionals and enthusiasts.

Two weeks of a journey through the high mountain deserts of Bolivia and Argentina and a passage through Chile. As a result, I experienced an incredible authentic Bolivian Pahiyas festival; imagery and heritage of Native American people; unforgettable cholitas' aprons and hats; 3,500 km in the expedition jeeps with the amazing crews; a 5,000 m altitude; cosmic landscapes that knock the breath out of you; lagoons that were literally emotionally devastating with their aesthetic simplicity and majesty; cute noise of flamingos; hilariously silly and ultra-charming llamas; sophisticated and timid vikunias; geysers with a heady smell of sulfur; colorful and salt mountains; the Milky Way so close as if you can touch it; salt marshes where the spatial perception was distorted. All of these was incredible. Happy discoveries of this world and yourselves to everyone!

Latin America is not the safest region for independent travel. People can be robbed, killed, and even eaten in the Amazon. That's why we decided to travel in a group with ITINERO.

Initially, we wanted to go to Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. Then we realized how beautiful each of these countries was, and we decided to dedicate a separate trip to each country rather than briefly check them all at once. So, we decided to begin with Peru.

We started to monitor the adventure tour companies. What did we see in searching for tours? The steep price tags and meager programs, many of which didn't even include the Rainbow Mountains and a domestic flight to Cusco.

We spent three months looking for a tour. How happy we were when we found an ITINERO Travel tour that included domestic flights, all excursions and hotels, and the most comprehensive program in Peru that covered half of the country: from Machu Picchu and the Rainbow Mountains to a plane flight over the Nazca lines in the desert and sandboarding in Ica! All in two weeks! And the itinerary was all so expertly planned that we saw so much in such a short time! It's fantastic!

An excellent adventure guide who skillfully handled all issues accompanied us. We realized how hard it would be to get around in the country not speaking any Spanish. The locals only spoke English in very touristy places and only until we had no problems. In case of any disagreement, they immediately forgot English.

Overall, I am happy that we chose this company to organize our vacation. Everything went well!

It was enlightening, heartwarming, fun, and adventurous (a review of the expedition to Bolivia).

Anna knows South America very well, quickly finds a common language with people, and has a ton of great local contacts, thanks to which I got to know and understand the country better and absorbed more vivid and voluminous impressions.

I went to Thailand with Anna and two of my friends, and I loved it so much! Initially, we planned to sunbathe on the warm sand on the beach. But Anna suggested a better, more captivating trip to the rarely visited islands. I got many great emotions and memories to keep and a huge desire to repeat that in other countries!

Before going on the journey to Bolivia and Peru organized by Anna at the end of 2015, I had dreamed of visiting these countries for many years. What I saw and was lucky enough to experience during the three weeks I spent in Latin America didn't simply exceed my expectations.

This trip changed my mindset toward life and life itself. For the better, of course. Even if for a relatively short time, I escaped the Matrix and found myself in a parallel universe. I was surrounded by the native people dressed in colorful clothes, wandered through the ruins of ancient cities in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and drove a jeep across the endless Salar de Uyuni... All that happened over a year ago, but I still recall these daily adventures. Last fall, I went to Nepal on an expedition organized by Lekha. What I saw again surpassed all my expectations, and I got the same excitement! It was challenging at times, but the peace of mind I experienced when I was in the Himalayas, walking through the places of powerful energy and touching the sacred relics of Tibetan Buddhism, overruled all the difficulties associated with the lack of oxygen and increased physical activity. In short, what you guys are doing is just so astonishing! Thank you for the adventure!

One of the best trips of my life. Each day was as full as whole life filled with the new powerful emotions and experiences. Full immersion in the here and now. Incredible nature, people, climate and landscapes that changed several times a day.

It was an incredibly fulfilling expedition. We saw tons of amazing things in those three weeks: an island of cacti, an endless salt lake with the sunset reflecting in it, friendly native people, colorful volcanoes, and the bulk of wild animals. People remember such moments for life as if they visited another planet. I especially want to praise the work of our guide, who sincerely wanted this trip to be the best of our lives - and it was. I first met Anna on an expedition in Bolivia in early 2015. I had never been on a photography tour before and had yet to learn what to expect. But after Bolivia, I completely changed my approach to travel, and all my previous trips and impressions from them immediately faded.

Now, after each trip, I compare my impressions with what I experienced in my adventures in Bolivia. This Saturday will mark a week since I return from an unforgettable and fascinating trip to Peru. I want to share my emotions if it is possible at all. Thanks to Anna, the trip was bright, colorful, and touching. I read many reviews about Peru and want to shout: "People, you did not see what I saw!" The change of scenery intensified my senses. People were mostly open and friendly. The food was amazing! All the emotions from what I saw left indelible impressions.
