A year ago, I started my epic journey to South America - 38 hours on the road, four flights (each connection had a time difference with the city of departure, pushing the total jet lag up to seven hours), and finally, I arrived. The trip was Mega Cool! If you want to find yourself in unearthly landscapes, experience high altitude (3800-4900 meters for almost two weeks), enjoy digital detox (we had a wonky WiFi connection once every few days and cell phone service only at the beginning and at the end of the expedition), get a new perspective on your life, have an unforgettable vacation, and get great photos (due to the accompanying team of professional photographers) – jump into a tour in the highlands of Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

And after that, you can leap to the tropics in Iguassu to entirely blow your mind away.

I want to say a few words about our trip to South Africa for New Year's Eve 2020. But is it possible to express the storm of our emotions and feelings by words? Stunning nature, mild climate, magnificent wine, and great company - that's how it was. Thanks to the organizers for the excellent program and especially to Konstantin Chuvashev for creating a constant festive and joyful atmosphere!

We went to South Africa for the New Year's Eve! What a country!!! We had a great time: wineries, safaris, ostriches, both alive and well-done, great hotels and an absolutely wonderful group!

Ten days ago, we finished our brilliant, unforgettable trip to the U.S. under the guidance of Anna Gibiskys. I enjoyed the road trip through the southwestern United States with Anna Gibiskys. The trip was lively and dynamic. The places were beautiful. The group consisted of nine people traveling by two cars. If you are ready to take it easy, respect the group's interests, get up at 5 am to meet the sunrise and dive into the romance of the road, then this trip is for you.

That beautiful Colombia! It is unfair to say that it is just a country of drug trafficking. This country is getting its life together and welcomes tourists nowadays. I can't recall where else I was treated with such care! It was delicious, beautiful and fun! That was a La Macarena place where people didn't know what hot water was for. And everyone was so happy to share their love and hospitality.

Of course, we're all awesome travelers, smart and savvy. But we could NEVER have made such a voyage to South America without Anna Gibiskys.

This delicate blonde is just unbelievably cool! She knows everything about both Americas! She filled our trip with so much meaning and content, taking us off the beaten tourist trails and into the real country's life that we still feel a kind of magical hypnosis. She would check in us at a hotel and disappear into the night to tie up the invisible strings for our next day. She argued with some sly locals in Spanish and guided us through discrete alleys to the best local restaurants and incredible viewpoints.

At the right moment, the right people, who were Anna's friends, showed up from nowhere to help us in Peru: a mountain guide Urbano, a superb driver Julian or a Russian-speaking tour guide – a Peruvian girl who studied in Moscow State University. We knocked on some doors and joined a backpacker party. We came to Martina in the Quechuan village and were welcomed as family members.

On top of it, Anya carried tons of professional photo equipment, took pictures, launched drones, drank pisco with us and treated us to coca candy! :-) She writes articles for National Geographic and her page features awesome photos

Canada... I dreamed and feared going there. With ITINERO Travel, my dream came true, and my fears were dispelled.

A strong wind met me at the Calgary airport. It didn't knock me down but offered a ride, and I trusted its wings - and I wasn't wrong. Eleven days of incredible scenery! Eleven days of silence and peace - in motion! Deep meditation and healing with mountain air in Assiniboine. Amazing Lakes Moraine, Louis and Emerald. A wolf running past a car, a bear devouring dandelions on the side of the road, deer calmly passing at arm's length, chewing grass on the lawn. Wildlife combined with comfort.

I met the most fantastic team leads with whom it was totally awesome to travel. The true friends and, simultaneously, the experts you can trust with your vacation! And the vacation days are always so short!

I want to reply to everyone who asked me how I got on such an unconventional trip through South America. It's a thank-you post to @itinerotravel and the world's best @annagibiskys. It's a balanced and thought-through reply. I've been following the company for a long time and decided to go in one morning. Why? Because they're cool. Professionals and enthusiasts.

Two weeks of a journey through the high mountain deserts of Bolivia and Argentina and a passage through Chile. As a result, I experienced an incredible authentic Bolivian Pahiyas festival; imagery and heritage of Native American people; unforgettable cholitas' aprons and hats; 3,500 km in the expedition jeeps with the amazing crews; a 5,000 m altitude; cosmic landscapes that knock the breath out of you; lagoons that were literally emotionally devastating with their aesthetic simplicity and majesty; cute noise of flamingos; hilariously silly and ultra-charming llamas; sophisticated and timid vikunias; geysers with a heady smell of sulfur; colorful and salt mountains; the Milky Way so close as if you can touch it; salt marshes where the spatial perception was distorted. All of these was incredible. Happy discoveries of this world and yourselves to everyone!

Latin America is not the safest region for independent travel. People can be robbed, killed and even eaten in the Amazon.😅 That's why we decided to travel in a group. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Initially, we wanted to go to Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Then we realized how beautiful each of these countries was, and we decided to dedicate a separate trip to each of them rather than briefly check them all. So, we decided to begin with Peru.

We started to monitor the Russian and English-language websites. What did we see searching for tours? The steep price tags and meager programs, many of which didn't even include the Rainbow Mountains and a domestic flight to Cusco. 🤦♀️⠀⠀⠀

We spent three months looking for a tour. How happy we were when we found an ITINERO Travel tour that included domestic flights, all tickets and hotels, and the most comprehensive program in Peru that covered half of the country: from Machu Picchu and the Rainbow Mountains to a plane ride over the Nazca drawings in the desert and sandboarding! Everything in two weeks! And the program was all so expertly scheduled that we saw so much in such a short time! It's fantastic! ⠀⠀⠀

An excellent Spanish-speaking guide who skillfully handled all issues accompanied us. We realized how hard it would be to get around in the country not knowing Spanish. The local people spoke English only in highly touristy places and when there were no problems. In case of any disagreement, they immediately forgot English.

All in all, I am happy that we chose this particular company to organize our vacation. Everything went well!

For about ten years in a row, my friends or I organized all my trips. This year I dumped this practice and didn't regret it. I am happy that I saw a Facebook ad as it helped me to meet an amazing company ITINERO Travel managed by Anna. It was enlightening, heartwarming, fun and adventurous (a review of the voyage to Bolivia).

Anna knows South America very well, quickly finds a common language with people and has a ton of great local contacts, thanks to which I got to know and understand the country better and absorbed more vivid and voluminous impressions.

I went to Thailand with Anya and two friends, and I loved it so much! :-) Initially, we planned just to sunbathe on the warm sand on the beach. But Anna suggested a better, more captivating trip to the rarely visited islands. I got tons of great emotions, memories to keep and a huge desire to repeat that in other countries!

Before going on the journey to Bolivia and Peru organized by Anya and Alexei Zavodsky at the end of 2015, I had dreamed of visiting these countries for many years. What I saw and was lucky enough to experience during the three weeks I spent in Latin America didn't simply exceed my expectations. I can say that this trip changed my attitude toward life and life itself. For the better, of course. Even if for a relatively short time, I escaped the Matrix and found myself in a parallel universe. There I was surrounded by the native people dressed in colorful clothes; wandered through the ruins of ancient cities in the Sacred Valley of the Incas; drove a jeep across the endless Uyuni salar... All that happened over a year ago, but I still recall these adventures every day. Last fall, I went to Nepal on an expedition organized by Lekha. What I saw again surpassed all my expectations, and I got the same excitement! It was challenging at times, but the peace of mind I experienced when I was in the Himalayas, walking through the places of powerful energy and touching the sacred relics of Tibetan Buddhism, overruled all the difficulties associated with the lack of oxygen and increased physical activity. In short, what you guys are doing is just so astonishing! Thank you for the adventure!

One of the best trips of my life. Each day was as full as whole life filled with the new powerful emotions and experiences. Full immersion in the here and now. Incredible nature, people, climate and landscapes that changed several times a day.

It was an incredibly fulfilling expedition. We saw tons of amazing things in those three weeks: an island of cacti, an endless salt lake with the sunset reflecting in it, friendly native people, colorful volcanoes, and the bulk of wild animals. People remember such moments for life as if they visited another planet. I especially want to praise the work of our guide, who sincerely wanted this trip to be the best of our lives - and it was. I first met Anya on a trip to Bolivia in early 2015. I had never been on a photo tour before and had had no idea what to expect. But after Bolivia, I completely changed my approach to vacations, and all my previous trips and impressions from them immediately faded. Now, after each trip, I compare my impressions with what I experienced in Bolivia. Visiting Bolivia was like visiting another planet - uninhabited, wild, untouched, with totally different colors and landscapes. And I am so glad that I saw it with my own eyes and in Anya's heartwarming company as she was a very cheerful and easygoing person who solved all issues with a good sense of humor. I can't wait for our next trip to Chile :)
